Terms and Conditions: SN Group

Important Notices:

  1. Payment: Full payment must be made before the release of any items from our premises. Business clients may arrange alternate payment terms by contacting us directly.
  2. Estimates: Estimates are valid for three weeks. In-person estimates are more accurate than those based solely on photographs.
  3. Defects: We are not responsible for any defects revealed during the sandblasting process.
  4. Price Variations: Actual pricing may vary from the estimate if the paint or material to be blasted is thicker or more challenging than anticipated.
  5. Items Received: We reserve the right to refuse items that differ from the ones we originally gave the estimate to, including but not limited to addition of items or presence of tar, particularly if the items were assessed virtually.
  6. Documentation Priority: Any text specified in the estimate, invoice, or receipt description takes precedence over information in this document.
  7. Pick Up: Once the client is advised that the items are ready, the client has 7 days to pick up, after 7 days any surface rust or other abnormalities are not our responsability.

Scope of Services:

  1. Sandblasting: Our objective is to remove materials such as paint and rust, exposing the desired material (e.g., wood or metal) underneath. We take precautions to prevent defects, compensating when necessary, unless otherwise agreed beforehand.
  2. Primer Application: Our aim is to prevent surface rust and apply a layer suitable for subsequent painting. We do not prepare the primed surface for painting, including addressing pre-existing dents.
  3. Spray Painting: We provide spray painting services exclusively for car chassis and similar items, it is important to understand that we strictly do not refine or alter the item’s condition after sandblasting, including but not limited to body work. Therefore, we do not offer any type of high end finish such as car bodies etc…
  4. Powder coating: For powder coating services, we highly recommend a trusted individual whose contact information is available on our website. If you wish to find out more about the powder coating service we offer, you can contact him directly. Please note that while we trust his expertise, we are not responsible for his work.
  5. Pricing: The price is determined by time and the quantity of blasting media used, influenced by factors like object shape, material thickness, and hardness.

Pricing and Payment:

  • Deposits are not mandatory, but we may request them for specific items.
  • Payments are to be made before or upon collection via:
    • Cash
    • Cheque
    • Bank transfer
    • BOV Mobile Pay
    • Revolut
  • Estimates are provided free of charge, and the client is under no obligation to proceed.
  • Once items have been paid for and left our premises, we bear no responsibility. Items must be inspected before leaving, and issues should be reported promptly.

Scheduling and Lead Times:

  • Timeframes provided are estimates; items may be ready earlier or later.

Client Responsibilities:

  • Items with oil or tar cannot be sandblasted. An additional charge will apply to remove these substances before blasting.
  • Opting out of any surface preservation or anti rusting process that we suggest removes our responsibility for any subsequent surface rust. We will address surface rust issues occurring after primer application but before pickup.

Materials and Equipment:

  • We select the appropriate blasting media based on the material. If a specific media type is requested against our recommendation, we are not responsible for defects, such as but not limited to warping.

Completion and Acceptance:

  • Acceptance of our work should occur before or upon collection. Once picked up, items are the client’s responsibility.
  • Post-pickup complaints will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but our ability to address them may be limited.

Liability:

We take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and quality of our services. However, SN Group shall not be held liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or damage to the item itself. In all cases, our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the services provided.

Privacy and Data Handling:

  • Unless specifically instructed otherwise in writing, we reserve the right to share before and after pictures of items on social media.
  • For items containing personal details of the client, we will not post any pictures without client permission.

Amendments:

  • Changes to these terms and conditions after an estimate, will be communicated to the client, rendering the previous document invalid.
  • If changes occur while the items are within our premises, but work has not commenced, the client will be notified and both SN Group and the client have the right to withdraw.
  • If changes are made after work has started, the previous terms and conditions agreed upon will apply, regardless of the items’ readiness.
